Who am I?

Hi, I’m Jess — aggressively Type A with a side of Type B, which means I love a well-planned itinerary but won’t cry (much) when it all goes sideways.

I’m that person who genuinely loves airports. The smell of overpriced coffee, the thrill of the departure board, the quiet judgment of gate numbers — pure joy. Visiting an airport in another country? Honestly thrilling. Borderline spiritual.

I’m not a big duty-free shopper, but I am a professional browser and comparer. I’ll inspect every shelf, convert currencies in my head, and confidently decide that no, I do not need to spend an extra $50 on Malibu when I’ve already spent thousands just to be here. (This decision may be revisited at Gate 16.)

From Europe to New Zealand, the Pacific Islands, South-East Asia, and our beloved Australia, come along for the ride. I share the highlights, the hiccups, the “why did I book this?” moments, and the itineraries that actually work in real life.

Expect honest travel stories, well-planned schedules (because Type A), a few mistakes for character development, and plenty of ideas for solo travellers, couples, and families — all delivered with a healthy dose of humour and airport enthusiasm.

Fasten your seatbelt. I’ve planned this.
